The UTR Pro Tennis Tour (PTT) has had a big month, with the updated 2023 calendar announced this week. Another 40 events have been added in America, Europe, and Asia/Pacific, making the total number of events this year 187 and total prize money over $4.5 million. See the updated schedule here.
The PTT has hosted over 20,000 professional matches in 25 countries worldwide since launching in 2021. Every PTT event has at least $25K in financial commitment with higher guaranteed payouts for players than $25K ITF events. The first half of the 2023 calendar will bring the total PTT prize money to $9 million and events to over 460.
Let's take a closer look at some of the June winners.
Sibling Duo Finds Success in Boca
Henrik Wiersholm, a 26-year-old former University of Virginia standout, won the $25K PTT men's title in Boca Raton. He lost a match in round-robin action before winning the 1st Place Playoff for his first PTT title and first pro trophy since he won an ITF in 2015.
Wiersholm's younger sister Katja nearly followed in her brother's footsteps a week later at the women's $25K PTT in Boca. The University of California Berkley sophomore fell one match short, losing in the final to Victoria Hu.
PTT Returns to Charleston
The PTT returned to South Carolina for the first time since 2021 with a men's and women's $25K held in Charleston. The men's tournament was won by 27-year-old Peter Bertran, while the women's check of $3,600 went to 20-year-old Lara Schneider.
Schneider is a redshirt sophomore at Indiana University looking to stay sharp during the summer, while Bertran used the PTT to get ready for the Davis Cup Group III, where he represented the Dominican Republic.
Ristic Makes Billie Jean King Cup Debut
Bertran is not the only PTT player playing for his country this year as 17-year-old Mia Ristic, a two-time PTT champion, compete for Serbia in June in the Billie Jean King Cup. The teen made her debut in April, and followed it up by winning the PTT $25K in Belgrade.
Crawford Captures First Crown
In Bradenton, Samantha Crawford, a former Top 100-ranked WTA pro, captured her first PTT title. The 28-year-old has been playing on the PTT to work her way back into shape for a comeback to the WTA after injuries derailed her career. Crawford won all six of her matches in Bradenton before traveling to San Diego and reaching the semifinals of an ITF W15.
PTT Set for College Campuses
This summer, the PTT will be at a record 10 college campuses, with events scheduled for Michigan, Ohio State, Baylor, Texas A&M, Denver, Wake Forest, Kansas, TCU, Tennessee, and LSU. Student-athletes can enjoy the benefits of playing a tournament with guaranteed multiple matches and prize money while close to home.

About the UTR Pro Tennis Tour
The PTT is open to players with a UTR Ranking of 200-2000, and wild cards can be awarded to those players with a UTR Ranking of 1-199 or above 2000. Every PTT event creates matchplay opportunities for up-and-coming, collegiate, and pro players thanks to a unique round-robin format. At every event, a group round-robin stage is followed by a World Cup-style playoff, guaranteeing multiple matches and counting all results towards the UTR Rating, the most accurate rating system in tennis. Every PTT event offers 4-5 matches and a minimum of $20,000 in prize money with an earnings guarantee for every participant.
